Job summary

Subsea Global Solutions seeks a Diver (Entry Level to Dive Supervisor) for the Halifax – Diving Operations team. A DCBC commercial diver card is required and you must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

The role involves physically demanding dive work, 24/7 on-call availability unless scheduled off, and travel up to 75% of the year with safety compliance and health testing on site.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required (reading/writing/speaking).
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• DCBC commercial diver certification/card required.
• Legal work status in Canada required.

Reports To

• Operations Manager, Halifax

Job Requirements

• Maintain a DCBC-approved dive physical
• Must be able, and willing to travel worldwide on short notice for indefinite periods of time
• Flexible work schedule, on-call 24 hours a day / 7 days a week unless on scheduled time off
• Shall be able to exhibit a physical competency in handling heavy lifting and other strenuous activities associated with this position, and exhibit relevant health and safety awareness.
• Comply with company illegal substance and alcohol testing requirements

Qualifications

• Certification from an accredited commercial dive school (possess a valid DCBC commercial diver card)
• Must be able to legally work in the Canada without restriction
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English
• Possess a valid driver’s license, valid Canadian passport

• Pay as per relevant regional pay structure. Individual rates depend on experience.
