Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a driven sales planning professional to lead the Go-To-Market strategy for flagship brands within the coffee and beverages portfolio. You will partner cross-functionally with category, marketing and supply teams to translate plans into executable CP G strategies and deliver annual targets.

You will analyze performance, prepare presentations for commercial planning, and influence top customers through data-driven insights.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 18 months of experience in retail sales required.
  • Experience supporting business performance through analytics, reporting, and sales-related planning activities.
  • Experience developing presentations and business materials to support commercial planning and field sales execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Go-To-Market strategy for respective brands to achieve AOP and sales objectives.
  • Translate category marketing plans into CPG plans that build brand equity and grow market share.
  • Develop and deploy cohesive business plans to retail partner teams.
  • Co-create innovative ideas with category/marketing to address customer needs.
  • Lead customer forecast process and ensure supply plan meets customer needs.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead his/her respective business as a priority within the NCP Go-To-Market strategy to achieve all Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Sales Fundamental objectives. A steward of all NCP brands.

  • Drive sales/customer needs to marketing and translate category-marketing plans into CPG plans that build brand equity and grow market share.

  • Develop and deploy clear communication and cohesive business plans to CPG/3rd party retail partner teams.

  • Co-creates innovative ideas with the category/marketing organization to address CPG customer’s needs.

  • Lead customer forecast process and ensure the supply plan is sufficient to meet customer needs.

  • Champion business building ideas based on customer and customer team communications and market/customer analyses.

  • Lead ongoing business updates and reporting with cross-functional partners designed to drive business goals.

  • Drive quarterly business planning and post promotion analysis for top customers

  • Ensure Go-To-Market plans, materials, and approach aligns with NCP and the overall brand strategy.

  • Understand the key business drivers at each Tier 1 and Tier 2 customer to identify opportunities for growth

  • Responsible for development and management of the CPG Go-To-Market plan for his/her respective brand to ensure sufficiency to deliver CPG corporate goals.

  • Integrates the work of NCP categories, marketing and sales planning to deliver cohesive aligned programs

  • Exhibit strong business acumen and financial discipline when constructing and selling ideas and solutions.

  • Educate multi-functional business partners on requirements of CPG customers

Summary of Experience
  • A minimum of 18 months of experience in retail sales required.

  • Experience supporting business performance through analytics, reporting, and sales-related planning activities.

  • Experience developing presentations and business materials to support commercial planning and field sales execution.

Basic Qualifications
  • High School diploma/GED required

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Experience calling on a CPG retailer with responsibilities including new item presentations, promotional presentations, seasonal presentations, strategic collaborative planning presentations etc.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities

  • Ability to successfully track and analyze business with very strong excel skills and analytical capabilities that can enable critical decision-making. .

  • Ability to build diverse, collaborative relationships.

  • Ability to align strategy, leverage multi-functional resources, and shopper marketing analytics

  • Understands the CPG industry and how the Sales Planning role enables the sales teams to sell

  • Possesses some Financial Acumen, ability to negotiate and reach win/win agreements

  • Identifies and communicates key responsibilities and practices to ensure the immediate team promotes a successful attitude, confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve business results.

Salary: $82,624.05 to $124,329.95 per year

Bonus Eligibility: Yes

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
