Job summary

Beacon Bank in Burlington, MA is seeking a Credit Associate to perform underwriting and support the deal team on complex multimillion-dollar commercial credit requests. You will analyze financial statements, projections, and market data to inform decisions and help structure credit packages.

Qualifications

Advanced Degree or 3+ years of commercial loan experience or general banking experience.
Strong analytical skills and knowledge of both financial and managerial accounting.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Underwrite all business opportunities and prepare credit write-ups for amendments, consents, and waivers as needed.
Coordinate with Relationship Manager and Client to maintain active dialogue and ensure alignment on credit strategy.
Review financial statements, projection models, and other data to develop concise analytical foundations for credit decisions.
Conduct periodic site visits and participate in meetings to assess management and business conditions; ensure risk rating accuracy and compliance with Credit Policy.
