Job summary

Fulton Bank is seeking a Special Assets credit analyst for a full-time hybrid role across PA, NJ, MD, DE, VA and DC. You will gather and review credit and financial information, assess risk of the borrower, and provide detailed reporting to loan officers and committees.

Responsibilities include preparing deposit and loan summaries, cash-flow projections, reviewing loan documentation for covenants, and contributing to deal screening with Relationship Managers and Credit Officers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience required.
  • 2+ years of credit analysis experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of banking products and loan structuring.

This is a full-time career opportunity on our Special Assets team that can be hybrid within the Fulton Bank footprint as follows PA, NJ, MD, DE, VA, DC.

  • Gather and review all pertinent credit and financial information of the borrower, assess risk of complete credit relationship including borrower, related entities, guarantors, and contingent liabilities, and offer insights and detailed reporting of the findings concerning credit worthiness to loan officer and/or loan committee.
  • Prepare deposit and loan summaries on customer relationships and cash flow projections on each borrower, guarantor, and contingent liability.
  • Review loan documentation to assess compliance with loan covenants and loan agreements, as well as to confirm compliance with bank regulation and the bank’s commercial lending policies.
  • Gather appropriate information to prepare loan presentations to be presented to loan officer and or Regional Loan Committees.
  • Along with Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers and Credit Officers, be an active participant in deal screening meetings to aid in fully vetting the credit.
  • Assist in gathering information required by bank examiners and internal audit and ensure that all operating policies and procedures are followed.
  • Research and stay current on industry trends to develop understanding of best practices in credit analysis
Additional Responsibilities
  • May assist in updating and maintaining customer commitment reports, completing file work and submitting risk rating changes.
  • May analyze relationship profitability reports to help determine appropriate pricing for prospective loans.
Education

Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or another business or banking related program. (Required)

Experience

2 or more years Credit analysis experience and working knowledge of bank products and types of loan structuring. (Preferred)

Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.

The salary range for this position is $51,600.00 - $86,000.00 annually.

This job is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.
