Job summary

You will help manage contracting workflows, contribute to template creation, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to manage risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from ABA-accredited school and bar in good standing.
• 3+ years as a commercial attorney at top law firm and/or in-house.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with sound commercial and legal judgment.
• Excellent interpersonal, strategic thinking, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate and review a wide range of agreements (procurement, sales, licensing, marketing, co‑promotion and research collaborations).
• Advise internal clients to ensure practical and timely legal guidance for operations.
• Develop template agreements, playbooks and training to improve contracting processes.
• Represent Abbott externally to suppliers and customers, and coordinate with outside counsel.
