Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Legal Expert for a remote contractor assignment. The role involves creating expert-level legal tasks and solutions across contract, litigation-support, and legal-research workflows, with emphasis on accuracy and clarity.

Required is a JD or equivalent with active US bar admission and 3–8 years of practice. Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills are needed; paralegals and legal assistants should not apply.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of legal practice, preferably at the Associate level.
• JD or equivalent legal qualification with active US bar admission.
• Strong experience in contract drafting, litigation support, and legal research.
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and translate them into practical, high-quality tasks.
• Paralegals and Legal Assistants should not apply.

Type: Contractor Assignment

Compensation: $40/hr

Location: Remote

Commitment: Full-time (40 hours/week), with 8 hours overlap during PST business hours
