Job summary

FRWD Construction, LLC is seeking experienced Superintendents based in Middle Tennessee to lead field operations on commercial projects. The Superintendent will coordinate subcontractors and trades, manage sequencing, ensure safety and quality, and oversee budget adherence to meet delivery schedules.

Responsibilities include supervising all field operations, coordinating sequence of work, timely communication with project management, enforcing site safety, and maintaining high workmanship

Qualifications

• 3+ years as commercial construction superintendent: tenant improvements and ground up.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to problem solve in fast paced environments and prioritize effectively.
• Deadline- and detail-oriented; able to read and interpret contract docs, drawings, specs, and scopes of work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient with computers/tablets; strong negotiation skills.
• Team player; willing to be trained/mentored.

Responsibilities

FRWD Construction is currently seeking experienced Middle TN based Superintendents.

The Superintendent will lead, manage, and direct subcontractors and various trade labor. The Superintendent is directly responsible for sequencing of work, maintaining safety, quality control, budget adherence, and scheduled delivery of the project.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise all field operations related to the performance of the project: methods of construction, project schedule, subcontractors, vendors, logistics, quality control, and delivery.
• Establishes, coordinates, and manages the sequence of work and methods in which the work will be accomplished by the subcontractors, vendors, and various personnel involved in the project that is consistent with the project delivery date, scope of work, and contract documents.
• Communicate in a timely manner with project management as needed to resolve construction issues and to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and client expectations.
• Manage and enforce job site rules and site safety. Ensure that all field personnel are in compliance with all applicable safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and conduct quality control to ensure that installations and materials conform to the approved plans, specifications, and contract documents.

Qualifications:
