Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Construction Field Project Manager/Superintendent to manage all phases of construction projects, from estimating and pre‑construction planning to on‑site supervision and final delivery. This hybrid role combines project management, field supervision, and estimating responsibilities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Estimating & Pre‑Construction:
  • Review architectural and engineering plans to prepare accurate cost estimates.
  • Perform quantity take‑offs, subcontractor bid solicitation, and pricing of labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Analyze project specifications and scope of work to ensure all costs are captured.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers during the pre‑construction phase.
  • Assist in developing project budgets, proposals, and bid packages.
  • Track and update cost data for future estimating and benchmarking.
Project Management:
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of assigned construction projects.
  • Develop and maintain construction schedules to meet deadlines and milestones.
  • Monitor budgets and control costs to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Manage all project documentation including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and building codes.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and vendors for seamless project execution.
Field Supervision:
  • Oversee daily site operations, including subcontractor supervision and labor coordination.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
  • Schedule and manage deliveries, equipment, and material handling.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project plans.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
  • Serve as the primary on‑site contact for clients, inspectors, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management, field supervision, and estimating.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and building systems.
  • Proficient with estimating and project management software (e.g., Procore, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Buildertrend, MS Project, Excel).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Equivalent field experience with proven estimating knowledge will be considered.
Work Environment:
  • Job site‑based role with regular exposure to outdoor conditions, noise, and physical work environments.
  • May involve occasional office‑based work for estimating and planning tasks.
  • Extended hours may be required based on project demands.
