Job summary

HITT Contracting is seeking a Project Manager in Santa Clara, CA to develop, coordinate, implement, and manage all facets necessary to construct the project on time, within budget, and to the required quality. The PM serves as the primary leader for the construction effort and liaises across teams and stakeholders.

The role requires coordinating safety, budgeting, scheduling, RFIs, submittals, pay applications, and collaboration with field teams, clients, and subcontractors, while upholding

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in commercial construction.
• Experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Mastery of reading construction drawings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client liaison skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adherence to safety standards; ensure documentation is filed.
• Create and manage project budget for all assigned projects.
• Develop and collaborate on pre-construction RFP package.
• Conduct project meetings, set milestones and owner reports.
• Establish job processes (RFIs, submittals, and pay applications).
• Perform project scheduling; ensure quality control and logistics.
• Manage the closeout process efficiently.
• Discuss client needs and how services meet them with customers.
• Supervise assistant operations support roles.
• Collaborate with the project superintendent and site operations team.
