Job summary

B&B Concrete is seeking a Commercial Concrete Finisher to smooth and finish poured concrete floors, walls, slabs, and site work to specified quality using hand and power tools. You will work on commercial construction projects, ensuring flat, level surfaces and proper finish.

Responsibilities include spreading concrete, leveling with straight edge and trowels, applying power trowel finishes, loading and transporting tools, and maintaining safety policies on site.

Qualifications

• 3 years of concrete finishing experience.
• Commercial construction experience preferred.

• Levels, smooths and shapes surfaces using straight edge, float, machine trowels, and/or power screed.

• Loads, transports, and unloads tools, equipment, and supplies required for each project.
• Perform minor maintenance and cleaning activities with tools and equipment.
• Responsible for observing and complying with all safety policies and guidelines.

Commercial Concrete Finisher

Concrete Finishers are responsible for smoothing and finishing poured concrete floors, slabs, walls, tilt-walls, elevated slabs, and site work (curbs, sidewalks, loading docks, etc.) to specified quality using hand tools or power tools to include floats, trowels, and screeds.

Key Responsibilities

• Smooths and finishes surfaces of poured concrete floors, walls, slabs, elevated slabs, and site work.
• Spread concrete to a specified depth and workable consistency.
• Levels, smooths and shapes surfaces of freshly poured concrete, using straight edge, float, machine trowels, and/or power screed (Riders, Laser screeds).
• Finishes using power trowel; rub and patch concrete to meet quality standards.
• Loads, transports, and unloads tools, equipment, and supplies required for each project.
• Perform minor maintenance and cleaning activities with tools and equipment.
• Responsible for observing and complying with all safety policies and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
