Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean is seeking a supervisor to oversee multiple facilities and a team in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes leadership, scheduling, training, and quality control to meet client needs.

Shifts are Monday - Friday evenings with weekend rotation; compensation starts at $15.00 per hour and offers the chance to grow within a national janitorial provider. A valid driver’s license and background check are required. Bilingual abilities are a plus.

This is a Monday - Friday Evening postion that does require a weekend rotation

Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication between quality assurance, clients & custodians to insure all needs are being met
• Perform quality assurance inspections and correct deficiencies
• Train staff
• Cleaning is required as we are a janitorial service.
• Shift is Monday - Friday beginning at 4:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. A weekend rotation is required
• * Bilingual preferred -Strong verbal/written communication & average math skills a must. Must be able to write reports and manage budgets.

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have previous experience coaching & supervising multiple positions/employees.

Valid Driver's License and Background Check required.

Must have supervisor experience and commercial cleaning experience

Job Position Description

Supervisor responsibilities include organizing employee shifts, training and motivating team members. This position plays a critical role in ensuring all staff stays on task and complete all assignments to standards. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of cleaning principles and team management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Training cleaners on standards, products, processes and procedures
• Oversees staff performance and ensures all assignments are completed in accordance to set task schedule
• Train cleaners on task schedules specific to individual accounts
• Perform inspections and give constructive performance feedback to staff members
• Assign shifts and make necessary adjustment in case of call off or no shows
• Respond to customer complaints and request in a timely and caring manner
• Ensure compliance with safety and OSHA regulations
• Use proper PPE where required
• Opens and locks facilities, enable and disable security system as required.
• 1-2 years’ experience as a custodian, janitor, housekeeper a plus but not required
• Will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Experience working for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital or school is a plus.
• The ability to be flexible, work at a fast-paced and in a multi-tasked job is a must.
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time
• Has respect and understanding for co-workers and customers
• Must be able to communicate in English. Bilingual is a plus

Physical Demands and Qualifications

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching over head, reaching forward. Must be able to lift and and/or carry 25lbs.
• Ability to read cleaning instructions
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses

Compensation: $15.00 an hour and up
