Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside client sites. The schedule runs Mon-Sun from 6:00 to 11:00, totaling about 35 hours per week, with a pay rate of $12 per hour.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (or six months janitorial experience). On-the-job training is provided, and candidates should be detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and equipment.
• Clean and monitor restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrances.
• Empty trash and manage disposal; use of compactors as needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Restock paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow established housekeeping schedule.
• Operate heavy cleaning equipment as needed.
• Other duties as assigned per client scope.
