K.-Payne-Contracting,-LLC is looking for a dedicated cleaning professional to manage daily cleaning tasks across various areas including restrooms, break rooms, and common spaces. Responsibilities include emptying waste receptacles, sanitizing fountains, vacuuming carpets, and polishing fixtures.

The ideal candidate will ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of the workplace while following manufacturer instructions on cleaning. This role is essential for maintaining a pleasant environment for all employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Empty and replace liners in waste receptacles daily.
• Vacuum all carpeted areas and use dual-motor vacuums.
• Sanitize drinking fountains, water dispensers, and handrails.
• Clean all doors and glass at building entrances daily.
• Dust furniture and remove cobwebs within 80 inches of the floor.

Daily Tasks

• Interior Waste Receptacles/Containers
  • Empty and replace liners daily.
  • Damp wipe inside of soiled receptacles.
• Exterior Waste Receptacles/Containers
  • Empty and replace liners daily at building entrances.
  • Damp wipe inside of soiled receptacles.
• Carpeted Flooring
  • Vacuum all carpeted areas daily (move chairs for full coverage).
  • Use dual-motor vacuums with beater-bar heads per manufacturer specifications.
• Non-Carpeted Flooring
  • Sweep and damp mop all ceramic, VCT, and masonry flooring using warm/hot water.
  • Follow manufacturer’s cleaning specifications.
  • Note: ACG prefers microfiber mops over string mops.
• Entrances, Vestibules, and Lobby Areas
  • Clean all doors, door frames, and glass daily.
  • For CCP’s: Clean doors and glass between shop and branch (waiting room & technician area).
• Low Dusting
  • Dust furniture, file cabinets, countertops, window sills, shelving, and picture frames.
  • Remove cobwebs within 80 inches of the floor.
  • Do not move personal items or papers.
  • Dust desks only if cleared.
  • Use static feather dusters for low dusting and telescopic dusters for high dusting.
• Disinfecting
  • Sanitize drinking fountains, water dispensers, handrails, and grab bars.
• Polishing
  • Polish stainless steel fixtures, drinking fountains, and refrigerators.
• Restrooms
  • Clean sinks, toilets (inside and outside), urinals, mirrors, and shower stalls.
  • Sweep and wet mop floors with disinfectant.
  • Refill dispensers (towels, tissue, soap, air freshener).
  • Sanitize flush valves and remove wall spots or stains.
  • Tighten toilet seats or report issues.
• Employee Break Area/Room
  • Clean exterior surfaces of appliances (ice makers, vending machines, water dispensers).
  • Wipe down tables, chairs, countertops, sinks, refrigerators, microwaves, and toasters.
  • Clean microwaves inside and out.
  • Clean interior of ovens, ranges, and small appliances.
• Elevators/Dumbwaiters
  • Clean thresholds, floor tracks, and exterior framing.
