Summit Building Services in Hilliard, OH seeks a part-time janitorial associate to keep an office building clean and well-kept. Schedule: 20 hours weekly, Monday–Friday, 6–9pm; reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check required.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to get to work.
• Able to pass drug test and background check.
• Experience in housekeeping/environmental services/commercial cleaning/janitorial services encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Complete job specs for assigned buildings.
• Clean offices and common areas (desks, dusting, vacuum, mop).
• Clean floors (dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum).
• Clean restrooms (restock, sanitize fixtures, clean mirrors).
• Spot-clean glass/windows and dust vents as needed.
• Maintain equipment and order supplies.
• Keep areas organized (laundry separation, janitor closet).
• Use logbook to request consumables and share facility info.
• Communicate with Area Manager about timekeeping, supplies, requests.
• Follow health and safety regulations; perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Skills / Requirements

We currently have an open commercial cleaning position in Hilliard. Our goal is to keep the building in a clean and well-kept condition. This is a traditional office building, including private offices, conference rooms, and kitchen/lunchroom space.

20 hours weekly: Monday - Friday, 6-9pm

Pay: $ 15.00

You must have reliable transportation to get to and from work and be able to a pass drug test and background check.

Job Duties Include

• Complete job specifications for assigned buildings
• Clean offices and common areas: Disinfect desks and tabletops, dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, etc
• Clean floors: Dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, and pick up larger objects off the floor
• Clean restrooms: Restock dispensers, empty trash, clean and sanitize fixtures, clean mirrors, spot clean partition doors and walls, sweep and mop tile floors, and clean toilets and urinals.
• Others: Empty trash cans and replace liners, spot clean glass and windows, dust vents and other hard to reach places as needed
• Maintain equipment and order supplies
• Maintain organization of assigned areas: Includes keeping clean and dirty laundry separate and keeping the janitor’s closet clean
• Use the communication book to request consumables and share relevant facility information
• Communicates with Area Manager: Regarding timekeeping, supplies, client requests, and other relevant issues or concerns
• Follow all health and safety regulations7. Perform additional duties as assigned
