Job summary

Summit Building Services is seeking a part-time janitorial helper for Avon, Ohio. The role covers cleaning offices, conferences, and kitchens with 2.5-hour shifts after 5pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Reliable transportation and the ability to pass a drug test and background check are required. Responsibilities include cleaning offices, floors, and restrooms; restocking supplies; maintaining equipment; and coordinating with the Area Manager.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to worksites.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Experience in housekeeping, environmental services, commercial cleaning, or janitorial services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices and common areas: disinfect desks and tabletops, dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, etc.
• Clean floors: dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, and pick up larger objects off the floor.
• Clean restrooms: restock dispensers, empty trash, sanitize fixtures, clean mirrors, doors and walls, mop floors, and sanitize toilets and urinals.
• Other tasks: empty trash cans, spot clean glass/windows, dust vents and hard-to-reach places as needed.
• Maintain equipment and order supplies
• Maintain organization of assigned areas: separate clean and dirty laundry, keep janitor’s closet clean
• Use the communication book to request consumables and share facility information
• Communicate with Area Manager about timekeeping, supplies, client requests, and other issues
• Follow all health and safety regulations; perform additional duties as assigned

Job Skills / Requirements

We currently have an open commercial cleaning position in Avon. Our goal is to keep the building in a clean and well-kept condition. This is a traditional office building, including private offices, conference rooms, and kitchen/lunchroom space.

5 Hours Weekly: Tuesday & Thursday - 2.5 hour shifts after 5pm

Pay: $ 16.50
