Job summary

Summit Building Services in Bay Village, OH, is hiring for a part-time janitorial position. The role involves daily care for floors, restrooms, consumables, and disinfection in a public building, with 18 hours weekly from 1-4pm, Monday through Saturday.

• Complete job specifications for assigned buildings.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, restock dispensers, and empty trash.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and order supplies.
• Monitor sanitation in assigned areas and manage laundry.
• Communicate timekeeping, supplies, and client requests to Area Manager.

Job Skills / Requirements

We currently have an open commercial cleaning position in Bay Village. This is a public building that requires daily care for floors, restrooms, consumables, and disinfection.

Union Membership: Summit Building Services has a contract with SEIU Local 1 that requires each employee hired into this position to join the Union.

18hours weekly : Monday - Saturday, 1-4pm

Pay: $ 17.65hourly

Job Duties Include:

• Complete job specifications for assigned buildings
• Cleans floors: including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows.
• Cleans restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals.
• Empties trash, and replaces liners.
• Maintains cleaning equipment and orders supplies from the office.
• Monitors and maintains sanitation and organization of assigned areas including clean and dirty laundry.
• Performs additional duties as needed.
• Utilize communication book to request consumables and share any relevant facility information
• Communicates with Area Manager in regards to timekeeping, supplies, and client requests
