Job summary

B Littles Cleaning Service LLC in Bowie, MD is seeking a hard-working Commercial Cleaner/Janitor to maintain the cleanliness and safety of client buildings. You will perform vacuuming, mopping, restroom scrubbing, dusting, and baseboard care, while handling trash and recycling as part of daily duties.

The ideal candidate has commercial cleaning experience, reliable transportation, stamina, and a strong work ethic, with attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.

Qualifications

• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in Commercial janitorial services, desired
• Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite
• Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment
• Excellent stamina and physical health
• Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the buildings
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily
• Clean windows/windowsills, and supply restrooms on a regular basis
• Wipe up spills and other hazards with microfiber cloths
• Secure the building by locking doors and/or arming the alarm system once cleaning is complete
• Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the Operations Manager of any incidents/discrepancies
