City Wide Facility Solutions is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Commercial Cleaners to help maintain professional work environments for our clients throughout Northwest Ohio.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Background check must be passed.
• Prior commercial cleaning or custodial experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to listen to supervisor instructions and follow protocols.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, workspaces, break rooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Clean interior glass, windows, and windowsills.
• Vacuum carpets and rugs; sweep and mop floors and stairways.
• Dust surfaces and remove cobwebs.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance at facilities.
• Follow customer and building-specific cleaning requirements.
• Report maintenance concerns or safety issues to management.

What You'll Do

Cleaning & Facility Maintenance

• Clean offices, workspaces, break rooms, and common areas
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Clean interior glass, windows, and windowsills
• Vacuum carpets and rugs
• Sweep and mop floors and stairways
• Dust surfaces and remove cobwebs
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance throughout assigned facilities
• Follow all customer and building-specific cleaning requirements

Restroom Cleaning & Stocking

• Clean and sanitize restrooms
• Restock paper products, soap, and other supplies
• Ensure facilities remain sanitary, organized, and fully stocked for client use

Daily Responsibilities

• Arrive on time and ready to perform assigned duties
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
• Keep janitorial closets clean, organized, and stocked
• Report maintenance concerns or safety issues to management
• Deliver quality work that meets City Wide and client expectations

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must successfully pass a background check
• Previous commercial cleaning, janitorial, housekeeping, or custodial experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor instructions
• Ability to follow building-specific and customer-specific protocols
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation to assigned job locations
• Must be comfortable using cleaning equipment and supplies
• Must be comfortable working at heights and using ladders when necessary
• Must demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality work

Physical Requirements

This position requires regular physical activity throughout the workday, including:

• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Frequent bending, reaching, stretching, and repetitive cleaning motions
• Lifting, carrying, and moving cleaning supplies and equipment
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
• Ability to safely perform cleaning duties in various commercial environments
