Position Title: Commercial Cleaner. The role offers a 10:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday–Friday schedule at a K-8 school facility in the greater Lansing area.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, classrooms, and lobby spaces.
• Vacuum carpeted areas, sweep, and mop hard surfaces.
• Dust surfaces, fixtures, and furniture; clean interior glass and mirrors.
• Empty trash and recycling throughout the facility.
• Monitor and restock paper products, soap dispensers, and cleaning supplies.

Commercial Cleaner

Role Details:

• Pay Rate: $16.00 - $18.00 / hour
• Hours: 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday (22.5 hours/week)
• Location: On-site at a K-8 school facility in the greater Lansing area

Primary Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for keeping offices, walkways, lobbies, restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas presentable, safe, and sanitary.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, classrooms, and lobby spaces.
• Vacuum carpeted areas, sweep, and mop hard surface floors.
• Dust surfaces, fixtures, and furniture; clean interior glass and mirrors.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles throughout the facility.
• Monitor and restock paper products, soap dispensers, and cleaning supplies.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Background Check: Must possess a clear criminal background record.
• Drug Screen: Must pass a drug screening
• Physical Capability: Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and kneel for extended periods, as well as lift up to 55 lbs as needed during your shift.
• Dependability: Exceptional attendance record, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently.
• Communication: Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions effectively.
• Transportation: Must have your own reliable transportation to ensure punctual arrival.
