Job summary

Danis Construction Inc is seeking a skilled Commercial General Trades Carpenter to build/install scaffolds, frames, doors, millwork and cabinetry according to drawings and documents. The role reports to the foreman or superintendent and emphasizes safety and teamwork on site.

Outdoor work in varying weather is common; candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and have reliable transportation. Prior carpentry experience and apprenticeship training are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years carpentry experience.
• Carpenter apprenticeship training is a plus.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect contract documents to determine details of items to be performed.
• Scaffold and frame structures; install temporary shelters and doors with hardware.
• Perform millwork, trim and cabinetry tasks as required.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders; install handrails, platforms and walkways.
• Follow safety policies and work with project teams to meet schedules.
