Job summary

Pepper Construction is seeking a skilled carpenter to support commercial construction projects in Ohio. You will perform rough and finish carpentry, install doors, trim, millwork, and build temporary structures according to plans.

The role demands hands-on ability, attention to detail, and flexibility for overtime, weekends, and night shifts. OSHA 10 and operator certification preferred; strong teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in commercial construction.
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and ability to multi-task.
• Flexible availability, including overtime, weekends, and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Construct, erect, install and repair structures and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Work with and install doors, hardware, trim, cabinetry, ceiling materials and millwork.
• Build rough wooden structures such as concrete forms, scaffolds, and temporary frame shelters.
• Examine specifications to determine dimensions and measure materials.
• Erect scaffolding, install ladders, handrails, walkways and subflooring.
• Load, unload and move materials around the site; operate equipment as needed.
• General clean-up and site protection; supervise subcontractors as directed.
