Job summary

Midwest Drywall Co Inc is seeking skilled Commercial Carpenters in San Antonio to construct, install, and repair structures in commercial buildings. You will measure, cut, and finish drywall and metal studs; interpret blueprints; and work with teams to ensure safe, quality finishes on time.

Qualifications

• Experience as Commercial Drywall Carpenter or similar in commercial construction.
• Proficiency with drywall installation and finishing tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings for accurate installs.
• Willingness to travel to multiple project locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Installation: measure, cut, install, and finish drywall, metal studs, ceilings, partitions, backing, and related materials in commercial projects.
• Framing and Layout: layout and install metal framing; coordinate with foremen and other trades.
• Drywall Finishing: tape, mud, sand, patch, texture surfaces and prep for paint.
• Repairs and Patching: fix damaged surfaces by patching or replacing drywall.
• Reading Blueprints: interpret blueprints and drawings for accurate work.
• Materials and Equipment: safely use tools and manage materials to minimize waste.
• Health and Safety: follow safety regulations and keep job site clean.
