Job summary

Nunn Construction is seeking a Carpenter/Carpenter Apprentice in Durango, CO. This role involves reading blueprints, constructing wood structures, and installing fixtures while upholding safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of carpentry experience, can work 40+ hours weekly, and are capable of using hand and power tools. Competitive hourly pay with potential merit bonuses is offered.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of hands-on, carpentry experience.
• Must be able to work 40+ hours per week.
• Ability to use necessary hand and power tools.
• Must have reliable transportation to job site(s).
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing approximately 50 lbs. or move up to 90 lbs., climb and work ladders, bend, stoop, and work around wood dust and fumes, in inclement weather.
• Must pass pre-employment background check & drug screen.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Follows blueprints and building plans to meet client needs.
• Installs structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding.
• Measures, cuts, or shapes wood, plastic, and other materials.
• Constructs building frameworks, including walls, floors, and door frames.
