Job summary

Lang Masonry Contractors is seeking Brick/Block Laborers for year-round commercial masonry work across the region. You’ll support masons by delivering materials, mixing mortar, and helping with site preparation on busy projects.

No formal masonry experience is required, but a hard-working, safety-conscious attitude helps. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and year-round steady work as part of a team focused on quality and on-time completion.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work hard in a fast-paced job site environment.
• Reliable and team-oriented.
• Ability to follow instructions and stay proactive.
• Construction or masonry experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Mix mortar, grout, manually or using machines, according to standard formulas.
• Erect scaffolding.
• Cut materials to specified sizes for installation, using power saws.
• Modify material moving, mixing, grouting, grinding, polishing, or cleaning procedures, according to installation or material requirements.
• Provide assistance in the preparation, installation, repair, of block/brick, or stone surfaces.
• Locate and supply materials to masons for installation, following numbered sequences.
• Arrange or store materials, machines, tools, or equipment.
• Clean installation surfaces, equipment, tools, work sites, or storage areas.
• Move or position materials such as marble slabs, hoists, or dollies.
• Remove excess grout or residue from block/brick joints, using sponges or trowels.
• Remove damaged block/brick, or mortar, and clean or prepare surfaces, using pliers, hammers, chisels, drills, or wire brushes.

About the Role:

Lang Masonry Contractors is seekingconstruction Laborers for year-round commercial Masonry work throughout Ohio, West Virginia, Indiana, Kentucky, and other surrounding states . In this role, you’ll help keep projects moving by making sure Masons have the materials they need such as block/brick, mortar, wire, and control joint so work stays efficient and on schedule.

What you'll do:
