Job summary

First Capital Bank seeks a motivated professional to support Commercial Lenders by gathering financial data, drafting letters and agreements, and coordinating with CPAs and attorneys. You will help manage complex accounts, process transactions, and renew loans while ensuring compliance with bank policy and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support Commercial Lenders by obtaining financial data, drafting letters and agreements, and obtaining collateral documents.
  • Coordinate with CPAs, attorneys, and insurance agents to resolve exceptions and issues.
  • Assist in relationship management for complex accounts by processing transactions and renewing loans.
  • Complete essential functions with minimal supervision using banking and lending applications.
  • Serve as primary contact for commercial customers and resolve service issues.
  • Review loan documents for policy and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor reports and escalate issues to Commercial Lenders as needed.
  • Identify cross-sell and referral opportunities with banking products and services.
  • Assist in managing deposit relationships (wires, set up, NSF, approvals, signatures).
  • Maintain awareness of risk and comply with policies and regulations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • At least a high school diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years of experience in the financial services industry
DESIRED SKILLS

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support to the bank’s Commercial Lenders by obtaining financial data, drafting letters and agreements, clearing exceptions, and obtaining collateral documentation.
  • Coordinate with assigned clients’ CPAs, attorneys, and insurance agents to resolve specific exceptions and transactional issues.
  • Assist in customer relationship management for the most complex accounts by processing transactions, renewing loans, resolving account issues, and providing other administrative support as needed.
  • Completes essential job functions with minimal supervision, using a variety of banking and lending applications.
  • Serves as the primary contact for commercial customers, to include resolution of customer service issues.
  • Review all loan documents to ensure compliance with bank policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor multiple reports to ensure that problems are escalated to the Commercial Lenders in a timely manner.
  • Utilize advanced knowledge of banking products and services to identify cross-sell and referral opportunities
  • Assist in the management of deposit relationships and related services, to include: wires, account set up, NSF management, approvals, signatures, etc.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Upon request and with proper authorization:
  • Monitor overdrafts and refer to Commercial Lenders for resolution
  • Assist clients with draws, transfers, and loan payments
  • Monitor past due reports and coordinate with designated individuals to collect on past due principal and interest payments.
  • Maintain awareness of risk to include observation of all job-specific policies, procedures, regulations, laws, risk limits, and industry best practices.
  • Report known or suspected violations to the appropriate authority in a timely fashion.
