Job summary

TDI Refrigeration LLC seeks an experienced HVAC/Industrial Refrigeration Technician for our Aurora, CO operations. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial ammonia systems, commercial refrigeration, and commercial A/C, ensuring safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements include 2+ years in the field, EPA Universal Card, and RETA CIRO/CARO certification. A clean DMV record and on-call availability are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in HVAC or industrial refrigeration.
• Experience with ammonia (NH3) systems is preferred.
• EPA Universal Card required; RETA CIRO/ CARO certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on industrial ammonia, commercial refrigeration and commercial A/C systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues; start-ups/shut downs; maintain components.

Job Description:

Experienced HVAC Technician or Experienced Industrial Refrigeration Technician

Duties:

Responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of industrial ammonia (NH₃), commercial refrigeration and commercial air conditioning systems. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues; perform system start-ups and shutdowns; maintain compressors, pumps, valves, evaporators, condensers, and associated components. Ensure compliance with safety standards, PSM/RMP regulations, and company procedures. Complete accurate service documentation and communicate clearly with customers and internal teams to keep systems running safely, efficiently, and reliably.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with on-call rotation.
• Obtain or maintain RETA CIRO/CARO certification.
• Complete work orders and timecard daily.
• Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections with documentation to ensure reliability and compliance.
• Maintain compliance with PSM, RMP, IIAR, and OSHA safety standards.
• Document service work accurately and complete required reports on time.
• Communicate safety concerns clearly to customers and internal teams.
• Participate in emergency service calls and support plant operations as needed.
• Mentor junior technicians and promote best practices in safety and workmanship.
