Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply growing mechanical knowledge of engine operations, cooling systems, brakes, steering and suspension, HVAC, and general vehicle maintenance.
• Perform tire service on commercial, agricultural, and industrial equipment in the field and at the shop.
• Mount and dismount tires and inspect damaged or defective tires to determine repair feasibility.
• Complete tire repairs, balancing, and rotation on a variety of equipment and vehicles.
• Respond to roadside service calls and provide on-site support to commercial and agricultural customers.
• Conduct minor automotive maintenance such as oil changes, lubrication, and accessory replacement when required.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, tools, and service equipment using approved methods and solvents.
• Receive, inventory, and properly store tires based on size and type; organize tire storage areas.
• Inspect tire casings and categorize them as reusable or scrap.
• Build strong relationships with existing accounts while identifying opportunities to grow new business.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to respond to after-hours service calls.
