Across industries, commerce has become one of the most important channels for growth, customer engagement, and margin performance - not simply a transactional endpoint, but a strategic lever that shapes how customers experience a brand and how a business competes. Where organizations are rethinking the role commerce should play in their broader channel mix and how they acquire, convert, and retain customers as a result, they look to Deloitte's Commerce practice.
Our team helps clients define the role of commerce as a channel within their broader growth strategy, build the value narrative and business case for where to invest, and shape the experiences, capabilities, and operating model needed to deliver on that strategy. We bring together strategic rigor, design depth, commercial judgment, and implementation expertise to help clients translate ambition into measurable business outcomes.
The Commerce Strategy Manager is a client-facing consulting leader responsible for shaping commerce strategy engagements across industries, bringing a strategic, value-oriented lens to how clients position commerce as a critical growth channel. Commerce organizations are operating in a fast-changing environment shaped by shifting consumer behavior, channel fragmentation, rising customer expectations, and pressure to deliver profitable growth. We are looking for practitioners who can work alongside client leadership teams to define the strategic role of commerce as a channel, build the value narrative and business case for where to invest, prioritize commerce use cases, and drive the implications of that positioning across pricing, customer experience, and growth strategy - creating measurable impact that carries through into how commerce gets implemented.
