Sonic Healthcare USA in Houston, TX is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to provide patient-centered venipuncture and specimen collection in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will ensure accurate labeling, processing, and orderly test ordering while upholding strict safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent, phlebotomy training or experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.

Location & Schedule

Location: Houston, TX

Status: Full-time

Shift: 1st

Days: Monday-Friday

Hours: 8:30 a.m - 5:30 p.m

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

In this role, you will:

• Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.
• Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.
• Collect/prepare non-blood specimens.

• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

All you need is:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.

Bonus points if you've got:

• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing.
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians.
