The United States Army Reserve is seeking a Combat Engineer. This role supports mobility, counter-mobility, survivability and general engineering in challenging environments and rough terrain.
You will participate in constructing fighting positions, bridges, and defensive works, plus handling explosives, route clearance, and mine detection. Training lasts 14 weeks, combining Basic Combat and Advanced Individual Training, with hands-on field instructions.

Job training for combat engineers requires 14 weeks of One Station Unit Training, which includes Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training. Part of this time is spent in the classroom and part in the field with on-the-job instructions.
