Job summary

Rinvio is seeking a Mission Critical Project Engineer for data center MEP project engineering and field coordination in Columbus, OH. This full-time position involves supporting project managers, tracking documentation, and coordinating technical teams for successful project execution. Qualifications

• Mission-critical, data center, commercial MEP, electrical, mechanical, or critical infrastructure construction exposure.
• Project engineering, field engineering, assistant project management, or coordinator experience on technical builds.
• Ability to read drawings/specifications and track RFIs, submittals, changes, issues, and documentation.
• Strong organization, communication, and follow-through in a fast-moving construction environment.
• Familiarity with MEP systems, commissioning milestones, NEC/NFPA concepts, and project controls is preferred.
• Dependable, safety-minded, commercially aware, and comfortable in fast-moving project environments.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers and field teams with MEP-heavy data center construction execution.
• Track RFIs, submittals, drawings, specifications, procurement items, change documentation, and field issues.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, low-voltage, commissioning, QA/QC, and subcontractor teams.
• Help maintain schedules, progress tracking, punch lists, commissioning readiness, and turnover documentation.
• Communicate clearly with project stakeholders and keep technical documentation organized.
