Job summary

PwC in Columbus, Ohio is offering a DAT Intern/Trainee role within our Assurance practice. You will gain exposure to audit and assurance processes by supporting teams on projects, performing research, and handling basic tasks that contribute to client engagements.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, MIS, Business Analytics, CS, or IT.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher was achieved or is expected.
• Before starting full-time at PwC, meet CPA eligibility requirements in the state of employment or CPA/CISA licensure requirements.
• Intern roles are entry-level and often filled by students in their third or fourth year.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the execution of digital assurance tasks on audit projects.
• Observe and learn from experienced auditors on financial reporting and compliance.
• Assist in applying auditing methodologies to improve accuracy and reliability of assessments.
• Engage in basic research to support audit processes and decisions.
• Participate in the development and testing of AI platforms for audit purposes.
• Contribute to evaluating internal controls and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with team members to address compliance and governance challenges.
• Apply cloud engineering principles to optimize audit processes and data management.
• Gather and analyze data to identify patterns and support audit conclusions.
• Listen actively and accept feedback to improve performance and understanding of audit practices.

What You Must Have

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
• At least a 3.0 overall GPA
• Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
• Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
