Job summary

Cornerstonetechtalent is seeking a hands-on Network Security Analyst to support cybersecurity operations, network security monitoring, and infrastructure protection in a large enterprise. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands‑on network design, implementation, or support experience.
• Practical IT security or systems administration experience.
• Strong routing, switching, and secure network design knowledge.
• Experience with enterprise firewalls and security controls.
• Ability to analyze security logs, alerts, and network traffic.
• Familiarity with IDS/IPS, monitoring, and auditing.
• Working knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• CCNA or similar network security certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to network security alerts and threats.
• Conduct security assessments for firewall, connectivity, and infrastructure changes.
• Review firewall rules and network access requests for risks.
• Analyze network traffic and security logs for suspicious activity.
• Support implementation and improvement of enterprise security controls.
• Collaborate with teams to implement security improvements.
• Monitor on‑premises and cloud network environments for vulnerabilities.
• Support IDS/IPS configurations, auditing, and rule reviews.
• Contribute to SOC operations and incident response activities.
