Job summary

Lowcountry Street Grocery is seeking a passionate, self-motivated independent contractor to perform home deliveries in the Columbia, SC area for Community Supported Grocery on Tuesdays on an as-needed basis. You will use your own vehicle, load and transport groceries, and deliver to customers’ homes with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires routing and communication skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to work 3–4 hours weekly on Tuesdays.

Qualifications

• Prior delivery experience appreciated.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving.
• Good interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Must have access to a vehicle with air conditioning for transporting produce.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries using own vehicle to designated homes on Tuesdays.
• Follow routing app for efficient deliveries and schedules.
• Drive 30–75 miles per delivery day locally.
• Deliver 25–75 grocery bundles as scheduled.
