Job summary

Skagit Regional Health in Mount Vernon, Washington, seeks a fellowship-trained Colorectal Surgeon to join our established program. The role involves a mix of general and colorectal cases, with endoscopy time blocked, and occasional night calls.

This is a hospital-employed position supported by in-house providers and integrated EPIC EMR. The ideal candidate will be board eligible/certified after an ACGME fellowship, prioritize quality care, patient experience, and community ties, with opportunity

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ACGME accredited fellowship program. Must be board certified/board eligible.
• 2–4 years of experience outside of training preferred; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license before start.
• The ideal candidate will place a priority on quality of care, patient experience and collaboration.
• Our ideal candidate will be focused on building lasting relationships with their patients as well as strong ties within the community.

Responsibilities

• See a mix of general and colorectal cases.
• Blocked time in Endoscopy available.
• Occasional overnight general surgery call (1-2 times per month) required.
