Job summary

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Colon and Rectal Surgery.
• Indiana medical license or eligibility to obtain.
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient surgical settings with robotic-assisted surgery proficiency.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative surgical team.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum colorectal and general surgical care, including robotic-assisted and minimally invasive procedures.
• Perform inpatient rounding, outpatient consultations, and follow-up visits.
• Participate in General Surgery call rotation (1:4).
• Utilize Epic EMR for all clinical documentation and care coordination.
• Collaborate with nurse practitioners, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in clinical quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the growth and leadership of the surgical program within Community Healthcare System.
