AtlantiCare is seeking a fellowship-trained Colorectal Surgeon to join our growing surgical team in southeastern New Jersey. The candidate should be Board Certified or eligible and bring an excellent operative and clinical skill set with a collaborative patient-care approach.
The role offers opportunities to teach rotating residents and medical students, and to participate in a robust academic and clinical environment within AtlantiCare Physician Group Surgical Associates.

AtlantiCare-a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award recipient and the largest healthcare system in southeastern New Jersey-invites applications for a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Colorectal Surgeon to join our growing surgical team within AtlantiCare Physician Group Surgical Associates.
The AtlantiCare Health System is recruiting a fellowship-trained colorectal surgeon to provide expert care to patients in southeastern New Jersey. A successful candidate will have both excellent foundation of operative and clinical skills and a collaborative approach to patient care. AtlantiCare is a multifaceted health system with approximately 625 hospital beds across two hospital locations in addition to multiple ambulatory surgery/endoscopy centers and multidisciplinary clinics.
Other highlights of the colorectal surgery division include:
- Access for elective and emergent robotic surgery (including SP platform)
- Protected endoscopy time/space for screening and diagnostic procedures
- Access to ambulatory surgery center for high volume anorectal and endoscopy
- Significant opportunity for growth in multidisciplinary IBD care and treating pelvic floor pathology
- Teaching opportunity with rotating general surgery residents (PGY1 though PGY5) as well as medical students on elective rotations
- Dedicated colorectal APP support for inpatient, outpatient, and operative services
