Job summary

MedStar Health's MedStar Medical Group in the Washington, DC area seeks a Colorectal Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join the Department of Surgery at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. This full-time APP will evaluate pre- and post-surgical patients in the office and coordinate care with physicians.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 1.0 FTE, with autonomy at times and strong support from a seasoned surgical team; new grads welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Completion and graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• CPR certification.
• Eligible for Maryland and DC licenses.

Responsibilities

• See pre- and post-surgical patients in the office and communicate with patients.
• Work autonomously at times with administrative and physician support.
• Coordinate care within a nationally recognized surgical team.

We are seeking a Colorectal Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our Department of Surgery at MedStar Washington Hospital Center.

The Colorectal Surgery Advanced Practice Provider in this role will be responsible for seeing pre- and post-surgical patients in the office and communicating with patients. The ideal candidate will be dependable and have thorough documentation skills, great work ethic, and be able to work autonomously at times while being connected regularly with administrative and physician support.

The schedule for this role will be Monday through Friday, as a full-time, 1.0FTE APP. This job excludes holidays, weekends, after-hour or call responsibilities.

Qualifications:
