HDR is currently seeking a Mechanical Business Class Lead to lead a team of building mechanical and plumbing engineers and designers in complex architectural/engineering projects across multiple market sectors—including Healthcare, Education, Science, Water/Wastewater, Federal Government, and Industrial. This is a key leadership role in our integrated Architecture/Engineering practice in Denver, CO. Our building engineering team is a full‑service, multi‑disciplinary organization that is co‑located with our Architecture studio to support a collaborative and fully‑integrated design process.
The primary duties of the Mechanical Business Class Lead are to provide overall leadership to the mechanical/plumbing team, including successfully identifying and recruiting additional team members, setting strategic vision and inspiration for the growth and evolution of the team, and providing technical guidance for team members. Secondary duties include personnel‑ and business‑management functions typical for a large A/E firm delivering complex projects.

The expected compensation range for this position depends on skills, experience, education and geographical location. Colorado: $156,464.00 – $223,520.00.
