Job summary

Pink Rose Clothing in New York seeks a Color/Trim Specialist to ensure color and product integrity across multiple brands and seasons. You will generate trend boards, set seasonal palettes with Design and Art teams, and coordinate with design, production, and overseas partners to approve color submissions.

The role requires 2+ years in fabric/garment production, excellent communication, strong organization, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create color trend boards for each brand/season.
• Set up and assemble seasonal color palettes with Design & Art teams.
• Assist color manager with daily color/trim submissions for approval.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during the approval process.
• Utilize a light booth for color/trim evaluation.
• Maintain an organized library of all submissions.
• Review Pre-Production and Top of Production samples for color and product integrity.

We are currently seeking a Color/Trim Specialist to join our team. The Color/Trim Specialist is responsible for color & product integrity and supports the cross-functional teams in evaluating submits to ensure color and quality standards are met.

Main Responsibilities/Functions Include but are not limited to:

• Create color Trend board for each brand/season.
• Set up & make the assortment seasonal color palette with the Design & Art team.
• Assist the color manager from a team with a daily workload of all color/trim submissions for approval.
• Communicate color/trim comments and approvals to appropriate business partners / overseas partners as well as internal divisions.
• Work with cross-functional teams during the approval process as needed.
• Be able to utilize a light booth for proper color/trim evaluation.
• Assist & organize with maintaining an organized library of all submissions.
• Assist with reviewing all Pre-Production & Top of Production samples to ensure color & product integrity.
• Make a color card.

Knowledge / Skills Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in fabric/garment production experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High level of organizational skills
• Must be detail-oriented and be able to follow instructions
• PC Proficient, including Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel mastery a plus)
• Ability to work well in a cross-functional environment
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and changing priority environment
• Understand fashion Junior Trends
