Job summary

Behr Paint Company is seeking a Paint Mixer to read work orders, mix colors, and prepare ready-to-ship pallets. You will operate a tint machine, verify color accuracy, and ensure safety protocols are followed throughout the shift.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, stand for long periods, and wear safety glasses during tinting; prior color vision is essential. Starting pay is competitive with progression over 6 months and one year, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Must read and follow work orders and safety procedures.
• Able to see color and notice minor color differences.
• Must be on feet for entire shift and lift up to 75 pounds multiple times a day.
• Must wear safety glasses while tinting.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tinting work by verifying tint machine is ready and load workload.
• Log into system and pull paint bases using pallet jack.
• Follow formulas on computer to mix colors and fulfill orders.
• Verify color accuracy and palletize finished products.
• Wrap pallets and transport to shipment staging area.
