Job summary

Magnolia Plantation & Gardens is seeking a Color Display Manager to oversee all color displays across the Garden, including planting beds, containers, hanging baskets, and special displays. You will set standards, monitor progress, and collaborate with the Director of Horticulture to shape future color schemes.

The role requires an Associates or Bachelors in Horticulture and 3–5+ years in horticulture, with 2–4+ years in people management.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Horticulture or similar field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in horticulture, gardening, or nature management.
• 2–4+ years of people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages color display programs across the Garden, including beds, containers, and displays.
• Sets standards, defines goals, and monitors progress for color displays.
• Collaborates with the Director of Horticulture to plan future color displays.
• Supervises staff, schedules, trains, develops, and manages budget for color displays.
• Promotes Garden activities and coordinates volunteers related to color displays.
• Engages in design development, installation, and maintenance of color displays.
