Responsabilités

• Provide full-spectrum colorectal and general surgical care, including robotic-assisted and minimally invasive procedures.
• Perform inpatient rounding, outpatient consultations, and follow-up visits.
• Participate in General Surgery call rotation (1:4).
• Utilize Epic EMR for all clinical documentation and care coordination.
• Collaborate with nurse practitioners, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in clinical quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the growth and leadership of the surgical program within Community Healthcare System.

• On-Call Expectations: Rotational 1:4 schedule including General Surgery call
• Start Date: Upon completion of credentialing (approximately 90-120 days post-offer)

PATIENT POPULATION & SCOPE

• Patient Demographics: Adult and geriatric populations requiring colorectal and general surgical care
• Average Daily Volume / Census: Varies by surgical block and clinic schedule

• Case Mix/Clinical Focus Areas: Colorectal procedures, general surgical cases, screening and diagnostic colonoscopies, and minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery

FACILITY & TEAM DETAILS

• Beds in Department/Unit: Integrated within a full-service surgical department
• Specialty Backup: 24/7 Anesthesia, GI, Oncology, and Critical Care support
