Job summary

Caliber Collision is hiring a Collision Estimator Trainee at our West St Paul service center. This role greets customers, assesses needs, and provides guidance to ensure accurate repairs in line with SOPs.

You will assist estimators by handling vehicle drop-offs, mapping/marking, and photographing vehicles, while coordinating transportation and paperwork. The position offers a pathway to hands-on experience in a production shop with weekly pay and overtime eligibility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer facing experience; sales experience a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under our company insurance policy.
• Must be 21 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in person or on the phone and determine their needs.
• Provide guidance and assistance as required to support requests.
• Assist Collision Estimators by handling drop-offs, mapping/marking and photographing vehicles.
• Arrange customer transportation and prepare paperwork.
• Perform active customer deliveries while communicating with customers, clients, teammates and vendors.

JOB SUMMARY

Caliber Collision has an immediate job opening for a Collision Estimator Trainee to perform all-purpose duties, which may include, but not limited to properly greeting customers in person or on the phone, determine their needs, and immediately respond by providing guidance and assistance as required, assisting Collision Estimators by handling drop-offs, mapping/marking and photographing vehicles, arranging customer transportation, preparing paperwork and performing active customer deliveries while effectively communicating with customers, clients, teammates and vendors to ensure correct and efficient repairs while adhering to all Caliber’s Standard Operating Procedures, insurance partners and industry guidelines/standards.

OUR COLLISION ESTIMATOR TRAINEE FOR THIS POSITION CAN MAKE UP TO:

• $50,000 - $60,000 per year!

ABILITIES/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

• Ability to do consistent physical activity - reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
