Qualifications

• Certifications in paint procedures (required).
• I-CAR certifications are required or preferred.
• Prior refinish experience in collision repair setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs all refinish work according to specs.
• Match colors of paint following specified color charts.
• Communicate vehicle stages in paint process.
• Monitor painting operations to identify flaws and correct causes.
• Mix paints to match color specifications or original colors.
• Follow OEM standards for blending formulas, topcoat application and curing.
• Apply logos, designs, or other identifying items to finished surfaces.
• Verify paint consistency.
• Layout logos or designs on painted surfaces using measuring tools.
