Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Temple, TX seeks an Estimator to deliver exceptional customer experiences by creating estimates and coordinating repair needs. You will communicate with customers and insurance companies, document damages, and guide the repair process to align with team KPIs.

The role requires 3–4 years in collision repair, CCC1, and 2–3 years with Progressive; high school diploma and IT/computer skills are needed.

• Knowledge of Repairs and OE Guidelines.

• Compliance for DRP’s; minimum 1 year experience.

Responsibilities

• Document and update every customer interaction with details.
• Provide accurate, timely information guiding customers through the repair process.
• Ensure compliance with insurance client requirements and metrics.
• Adhere to WOW Operating Ways for customer drop-offs and communication.
• Relay customer requests to appropriate team members.
• Display positive energy when greeting customers in person and on the phone.
• Understand required Insurance programs and procedures.
• Participate in daily production walks with Management Team.
• Support teammates and attend Health & Safety meetings when required.
• Attend training, information sessions and workshops as recommended by Store Manager.

Job Description:

Gerber Collision & Glass - Temple, TX

2-3 Years prior experience working with Progressive

2-3 Years Minimum prior CCC1 experience preferred

1-2 years prior experience general ledger: accounts receivables/payables preferred

3-4 years prior experience in customer service excellence required

The Estimator’ s primary responsibility and accountability is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while creating estimates, coordinating repair needs for customers including all communication, informing and updating customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal. The Estimator plays a pivotal role in the success of the customer’s experience by ensuring they are working in alignment with all team members in achieving the repair facility’s KPIs.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure every customer interaction is documented, updated efficiently and accurately with pertinent details
• Provide Customer with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process and ensuring that they receive excellent customer service
• Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes and metrics
• Ensure compliance with all WOW Operating Ways regarding customer drop-offs, repair planning, customer communication, and delivery
• Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members
• Provides positive energy when greeting customers in person and on the phone
• Understanding of all required Insurance programs and procedures
• Participate in daily “production walks” with the Management Team, as required
• Support all team members when requiredParticipate in monthly Health & Safety and staff meeting (if required)
• Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommended by Store Manager

Compensation Details:

Compensation:

Estimated $70,000 - $120,000 / Year commission based

Compensation is commensurate with location, skill, education, and experience.

In the event that total compensation in a pay period is less than minimum wage, clocked hours will be calculated with a guarantee of applicable local or state minimum wage, whichever is greater.

Supplemental Pay: This position may also be eligible for Bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
