Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass - Loop 281, Longview, TX is seeking an Estimator to deliver exceptional customer experiences while creating accurate vehicle damage estimates and coordinating repair needs. You will communicate with customers and insurers throughout the repair process to align with KPIs and team goals.

The role requires DRP estimating experience, CCC1/Mitchell proficiency, AR/AP familiarity, and a strong customer-service background.

Qualifications

• 2+ years DRP estimating experience
• 2+ years CCC1/Mitchell experience
• 2+ years AR/AP experience preferred
• 4+ years customer service experience required
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• Willing to complete I-CAR Training
• Awareness of where to look for answers
• Basic Computer Skills
• Compliance for DRP’s minimum 1 year experience

Responsibilities

• Document every customer interaction accurately and update pertinent details
• Provide accurate, timely information and guide customers through repair process
• Ensure compliance with insurance client requirements and company metrics
• Follow WOW Operating Ways for guest drop-offs, repair planning, and communication
• Communicate customer requests to appropriate team members
• Offer positive energy when greeting customers in person and on the phone
• Understand insurance programs and procedures relevant to DRP
• Participate in daily production walks with Management
• Support team members as needed
• Attend monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings
• Attend training and information sessions recommended by Store Manager

Job Description

Gerber Collision & Glass - Loop 281, Longview, TX

• 2 Yrs minimum Collision DRP Estimating experience required
• 2 Yrs + prior CCC1 / Mitchell experience
• 2 Yrs + prior Accounts Receivables/Payables experience preferred
• 4 Yrs + prior customer service excellence required

The Estimator’s primary responsibility and accountability is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while creating estimates, coordinating repair needs for customers including all communication, informing and updating customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal. The Estimator plays a pivotal role in the success of the customer’s experience by ensuring they are working in alignment with all team members in achieving the repair facility's KPIs.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure every customer interaction is documented, updated efficiently and accurately with pertinent details
• Provide Customer with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process and ensuring that they receive excellent customer service
• Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes and metrics
• Ensure compliance with all WOW Operating Ways regarding customer drop-offs, repair planning, customer communication, and delivery
• Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members
• Provides positive energy when greeting customers in person and on the phone
• Understanding of all required Insurance programs and procedures
• Participate in daily “production walks” with the Management Team, as required
• Support all team members when required
• Participate in monthly Health & Safety and staff meeting (if required)
• Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommended by Store Manager

Minimum Education And/or Experience Required For The Job

• Knowledge of Repairs and OE Guidelines
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Compensation

Compensation Details:

Estimated $49,000 - $90,000 + / Year

Commissions for this position are calculated based on location and revenue metrics, sales and individual performance, location, and subject to the terms of the plan.

In the event that total compensation in a pay period is less than minimum wage, clocked hours will be calculated with a guarantee of applicable local or state minimum wage, whichever is greater.

Supplemental Pay

This position may also be eligible for Bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives.
