Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking an Estimator in the Charlotte, NC area to support customers through the repair process. You will educate clients on insurance procedures, prepare and finalize vehicle estimates, and monitor repairs to maintain Crash Champions’ quality standards.

The role requires strong customer service, organization, and experience with estimating systems such as CCC One, Mitchell, and Audatex. This is a full-time on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and ability to explain repairs and insurance procedures clearly.
• Excellent organization, multitasking, and time management in a fast-paced shop environment.
• Knowledge of dealing with insurance partners and repair processes.
• Comfortable with high-volume workload and rapid responses.
• Familiarity with common estimating systems: CCC One, Mitchell, Audatex.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on repair process, insurance procedures, and their rights.
• Prepare initial estimates, finalize after disassembly and damage evaluation, lock final estimates.
• Oversee each repair and ensure quality through in-process QC.
• Keep customers informed about vehicle status and experiences.
• Collaborate with Body Technicians and review data procedures; complete post-scanning checks.
• Pre-close final repair order, handle paperwork, and ensure carrier requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on the process of vehicle repairs, insurance procedures, customer rights, repair techniques, safety, and value.
• Completes initial estimates, write complete estimates after full disassembly and damage evaluation, and lock final estimates
• Manage each repair throughout the process and ensure Crash Champions’ quality standards by performing in-process QC.
• Keep every customer fully informed and updated on the status of their vehicle and provide the best possible experience for our customers.
• Able to pull and review all data procedures for/with Body Technicians and complete post-scanning for each vehicle in the repair process
• Pre-close the final repair order, Handle disbursement paperwork, address exceptions in the file and ensure carrier specific requirements are complete

Compensation ranges listed are inclusive of monthly sales incentive bonuses. The compensation range listed is the average range for a typical full-time employee in this position.
