Qualifications

• Experience in collision scene investigation and reporting.
• Trial preparation and litigation support experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Credential should include one or more of the listed items (repair shop operator, hands-on collision repair, damage appraiser, tech school education, ICAR/ASE certifications, insurance investigator).

Responsibilities

• Conduct collision scene investigations
• Conduct vehicle examinations
• Analyze physical evidence, vehicle damage, roadway conditions, photographs, and electronic data
• Download, collect, and interpret EDR data
• Obtain and analyze Vehicle Sampling Evidence
• Analyze and interpret evidence to render an expert opinion on damage
• Work independently and manage assignments from intake through final reporting
• Maintain documentation and chain of custody standards
• Present findings in court as an expert
