Job summary

Toyota of Irving is seeking an auto body technician to determine and repair damaged parts in a fast-paced shop environment. You will actively communicate repair status to the Body Shop Manager and coordinate with the parts department to obtain necessary components.

Responsibilities include documenting repairs and materials used, maintaining a clean work area, and following safety procedures. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with vocational training preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Past experience in auto repair or related work is required.
• Completion of vocational program is preferred but not mandatory.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills are essential.
• Good organizational skills are important.
• Valid driver’s license a must.

Responsibilities

• Determine and repair damaged parts.
• Communicate status of repairs clearly to Body Shop Manager.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain necessary parts.
• Document all repairs performed.
• Document all materials used.
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Follow all company safety procedures.
• Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations such as the disposal of hazardous waste.
